Yes folks,my little girl is almost 8 months old.Oh how time flies!
She is sitting by herself
She is crawling
She is pulling up
She is walking around furniture
She says Momma,Daddy and hey!
She wakes with a smile and a hearty greeting everymorning.
She has two little baby teeth…that came in a few days after these pics were taken.
She is a healthy baby!
She is a stinker!

probably has a drool spot on her shoulder,or maybe even spit up
spends way too much time on the computer
makes human mistakes just like the next person
doesnt wear makeup everyday,or everytime she goes into public
or dresses up
house isnt clean all the time,and actually times are getting rarer
is self conscious
bites her nails and her lip
really really likes to talk
wears her hair in a perpetual pony tail but wont cut it either
is real,is human

Yes there have been big changes for our family and many more on the horizon,I am sure of it.

The recession has finally hit us.

Not a day after that happened…
We had motor vehicle troubles.Luckily,that IS his forte.

So here we are,where will we be? Only God knows what the future holds for our family.

When did she get so picky?
And mouthy?

She and I had this back and forth(it went something like me:yes her:no,repetitively) argument yesterday about whether she was going to eat supper or not.She didnt like what we were having,chicken pot pie,big surprise.Noodles.She wants noodles.Or pizza.Or mexican food.Or muffins.Thats it.

We have been here before.When she was a baby up until she was 5,she was completely a vegetarian by her own choice.She hated meat,but through the years we finally got her to eat “junk” meat.Fried chicken,hamburgers etc.

We have come full circle,I see.

I was warned when she was a baby that when she hit her teens,puberty,rather,that she would probably put on quite a bit of weight.Thus far,the opposite has happened.She is actually slendering up more.Good Genes but NOT FROM ME.

I do these at home,obviously.She is notoriously difficult to photograph.So every so often I take her out and just snap-snap away.And hope for the best.

I am SO ticklish!
I like to be sung to and I like to sing too.
I can sit up unassisted for about 30 seconds.
I crawl like an inch worm on the bed to snuggle.
My 6 month old cousin and I are just about the same size.
I am 17 lbs,wear a size 3 diaper and 6-9 month size clothes.
I think I am grown.
I will be 4 months old in 6 days.
Today is my Daddys birthday!

Seems to be on a downturn,doesnt it?
Very few comments,less posts,less audience?

I remember when I first started blogging…I felt pompous,who cares about my life and what is in it that is so important that someone would want to read about it?

Things havent changed much,but I have learned through it,that everyone has something to offer.

Hopefully through this blog people have learned a little about Down Syndrome,maybe a little tolerance?,no,thats the wrong word but you get the jist.Maybe they have learned a little about grocery shopping for a ton of people on NO budget or maybe you have just learned that there is nothing more important to me than my family.I dont know what anyone has learned but I hope something and I hope that you have had a few laughs along the way too.But now I am at a crossroads.Should I keep this blog rolling? I dont know and only time will tell.It has been a good 4 years,but maybe its time to bow out,gracefully.Maybe I willl see you again soon,maybe I wont.In the meantime,please cherish those sweet and salty moments in life….Peace out,yo.
